TheH2O Mop¨ X5™ unit achieves a high degree of hygiene and increases cleansing power by converting water to steam using a microfiber floor cloth to enhance absorbency. When contact is made with floor surfaces, dirt and grime can be eliminated in a matter of seconds.
Since the H2O Mop¨ X5™ unit uses the active power of steam without the use of detergents or soap, it is environmentally friendly. Regular steam cleaning also helps destroy dust mites, some types of bacteria, fungus and mildew.
The H2O Mop¨ X5™ unit is designed to thoroughly clean floor surfaces, such as marble, ceramic, carpet, stone, linoleum, sealed hardwood floor and parquet. Not all floors types are suitable for steam cleaning. On surfaces that have been treated with wax, the wax may be removed by the heat and steam action. Do not use on unsealed flooring or let unit stand on any wood or heat sensitive floor for an extended period of time. This could cause the wood grain to rise.
When using on vinyl, linoleum or any other heat sensitive floors, use extra caution. Too much heat can melt down glue in the flooring. When using the appliance on laminated floor, the laminated floor should have been laid professionally and not have any gaps or cracks in which humidity could enter.
Test the H2O Mop¨ X5™ unit on a small isolated area of your flooring prior to overall use on any floor surface. Always check the use and care instructions of your flooring manufacturer before using the H2O Mop¨ X5™ unit. If any doubt, please consult a specialist. Only use the carpet glider on carpeting & rugs. Use of the carpet glider on other floor surfaces will cause streaking and can possibly scratch the surface.
Tips For Best Results:
1) Sweep or vacuum floor prior to using the Mop.
2) To avoid puddling of water - the Microfiber Cloth, must be clean and dry for use. To replace the cleaning cloth proceed as follows: Let the cleaning cloth cool down, remove cloth from unit, replace with new Microfiber cloth and continue use. Select low steam regulator position.
3) To sanitize an area of your floor, leave the H2O Mop¨ X5™ unit at high steam setting over area for about 10 seconds, but no longer than 15 seconds.
Do not carry out this procedure on heat and steam sensitive floors.
• Never steam at one spot for too long. This can cause floor surface damage.
• During use a pulsing noise may be heard indicating that the mop is producing steam, it is normal.
• It is normal that there may be some minor “spitting” of water mixed with the steam.
• The force and heat of the steam may adversely affect certain materials. Always check the suitability of using the steam mop on a surface by carrying out a preliminary test on a hidden area.

Ordered this steam mop 30 days ago, rang to find out where it is, has come into stock today, will be another 28 days, but if we don't receive it within 28days...just call back!
I am very pleased with my h20 x5 mop. Since it arrived i find motivation to clean much oftner than before. One great thing is this; my cat leaves these nasty footprint from the litterbox and all the way through my hall... yack!. But with the mop i just know that the hot steam kills all the nasty stuff and i do not have to touch the mophead - it tears off easily and can be put directly into my washingmachine, so this problem solver just convinced me that steam cleaning is the way for me!.

It arrived in 2 days. I used it straight away on my cooker, kitchen sink, worktops, wooden floor, bathroom sink, shower tray and tiles. I am very pleased with it so far.
I will be trying it on the carpet on the weekend.

Another tip - when using the fibre brush attachment add some washing-up liquid to really cut through the grease. It works much better than with the brush alone.

Not exactly the best steam mop. Used on tile and doesn't really clean that much. Been using it for a week and it already stopped working.
Never buy a cat in the bag, especialy by mail order, unless you know who has an item you want and seen it in action. Better yet, buy one locally where you can deal in person in case of a problem. Believe it, it's not worth the hassle at any price!
I bought this mop mainly to do the carpet - it's useless. Ok for other cleaning but not as good as advertised. I too waited almost a month for it. I was also supposed to be sent some face cream as an extra freebie. They'd send it when it was in stock, but months on it's never arrived.
Has anyone used this mop for cleaning grout on a ceramic floor. I have tried various cleaners and nothing works. Would this mop be better !!!
Tried to order by phone last night, after supplying my cc #, address, phone # etc. the line went dead right in the middle of a sentence. I waited a few minutes to see if the rep would call me back then called the 800# again and the rep was very rude. All I wanted to find out if the order went thru asked to speak to a supervisor and after several minutes connected to Victor who informed me that I could either give all my information to Margie and I said I was afraid of a duplicate order. He suggested that I call Customer Service today, I attempted to do so but reach busy signal all day. I think I will use the local dealers to eliminate such problems and hope my credit card has not been used.
Purchased it recently. On opening the new product one of the part (jet nozzel) was blocked.I have given n number of complaints but very poor response, the part is still not replaced.I want to return the H2O mob and want my money back. These people are not bothered to check the product before packing, i am frustrated and highly dissapointed.

Literally waited a month after ordering for the product to arrive. Contacted customer service via email and were told they are on back order and it would be another month or longer before they got any more stock in to fulfill orders. Terrible customer service, maybe they SHOULD TELL CUSTOMERS THIS WHEN ORDERING so they can decide if they want to wait that long. Cancelled our order without so much as an apology. Thankfully we found the Shark at our local store--cheaper, great customer service, a warranty, and if something goes wrong we don't have to worry about sending anything back and waiting months for a replacement!
